Deep Impact (1998)

King Kong

Concept 1:In the death scene it is not possible that he could leap up into the air, smack the air craft and land back on the Empire State Building without doing major structural damage to the building as well as himself, since he weighs over 16 tons.

Concept 2: King Kong was shot repeatedly with .30 cal machine guns. With his size and the amount of gun fire, he would most likely have died slowly from blood loss, however, almost no blood was shown at all.

Concept 3: When King Kong does fall from the Empire State Building, at the end of the movie, he would fall at a velocity of 190mph (a human would have a termainal velocity of 120mph), due to his weight. At this velocity, ape parts and blood would be splattered all over the pavement.
