Suggestions to teachers:
1. Suggested questions for students when viewing the clip:

a. Name two things that some animals do to survive winter.

b. In the clip you see vegetarians, carnivores, and scavengers. Which animals are which? How can you tell?

c. Do you think this is realistic?

2. This clip could be a good way to introduce the topic of annual life cycles and how animals are sensitive to the change of seasons.

3. This clip could also be used to kick off a learning cycle on animals, where students keep small animals or insects alive and observe animal behavior as well as learn about animal care.
